Desi Cow Milk Procurement Journey

Our journey in desi cow milk procurement began in 2010 with just 6 liters from Mata Nirmalananda Yoga Bharathi Gaushala in Gandipet, Hyderabad. Recognizing the exceptional benefits of desi cow milk for infants and pregnant women, we aimed to raise awareness, as public familiarity with its advantages was low at the time.

Initially, our efforts, like holding placards outside Indira Park, yielded no response for two days. However, sales picked up on the third day, largely due to the teachings of Rajiv Dixit and Subhash Palekar. We received heart-warming feedback from mothers whose babies, now 15 years old, stopped nighttime crying after consuming our desi cow milk.

At Emerald Comestibles Pvt Ltd, we are proud to encourage Swadeshi products, thereby fostering self-sustainable villages by procuring desi cow milk and cow-based farming products. As of June 6, 2025, we procure 2000 liters of milk daily across Telangana (1700 liters) and Andhra Pradesh (300 liters), driven by our motto to increase desi cow populations in villages.

Our procurement exclusively supports Dharmic Gaushalas with a strong sense of social responsibility, benefiting approximately 30 gaushalas and sustaining 1200–1500 desi cows in both Telugu states. Our Gaushalas located in Vikarabad and Tarakaturu (Krishna district) have now been home to 80–100 desi cows. We ensure that milk is procured only after the calves have been fully nourished.

Beyond milk, we also contribute to the gaushalas' income by selling Gau Ark, Dhoopsticks, Jeevamrutham, Ghana Jeevamrutham, and shampoo. We also sell cow dung cakes for Agnihotra, which we've been performing at our stores for 15 years to purify the air.

For those seeking door delivery of desi cow products in and around Hyderabad, contact information for suppliers can be found via the "queries" column in the "natural farming products" section of our website. Additionally, we facilitate the provision of desi cows and bulls for farming purposes.
